At Midlands Power, we stand behind the quality of our lithium battery products. This Return Policy sets out your rights and our obligations when a return, replacement, or refund is required. It applies to all purchases made through our website at https://midlandspower.com/ and covers both UK and international customers, subject to the conditions described below.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK customers) or equivalent consumer protection legislation in your country of residence.

You may request a return within 30 days of the date you receive your order. After this period, we are unable to accept returns unless the product is faulty or subject to a valid warranty claim (see Section 5).
To be eligible for a return, your item must:
The following items cannot be returned or refunded:
If you are unsure whether your item is eligible for return, please contact us before sending anything back.
All returns must be authorised by us before the product is sent back. To initiate a return:
Step 1 – Contact Us
Reach out within your 30-day returns window using one of the methods below. Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and supporting photographs where relevant.
Step 2 – Receive a Return Authorisation
We will review your request and, if eligible, issue a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number and return instructions within 5 business days.
Step 3 – Ship the Item
Package the product securely, include your RMA number clearly on the outside of the package, and ship it to the address provided in your authorisation. We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service. We cannot accept liability for items lost or damaged in transit.
Step 4 – Inspection and Decision
Once we receive the returned item, we will inspect it within 5 business days and notify you of our decision by email.
If your product arrives damaged or develops a defect that is not caused by misuse, improper installation, or external damage, you may be entitled to a remedy beyond our standard 30-day returns window under our product warranty or your statutory consumer rights.
Please contact us as soon as you notice the defect. We will ask you to describe the issue and may request photographs or other evidence before arranging an inspection or replacement.
Where a product is confirmed to be faulty or defective, we will offer, at our discretion:
UK customers are entitled to additional rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to a repair or replacement within the first six months of purchase, and the right to a price reduction or refund if a repair or replacement is not possible or is not carried out within a reasonable time.
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you by email whether your refund has been approved or rejected. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please note that your bank or card provider may take additional time to post the refund to your account. If you have not received your refund within 15 business days of our approval email, please contact us.
We may issue a partial refund where:
Original outbound shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a confirmed product defect. If a refund is approved, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from your refund amount unless we have agreed to cover it.
We replace products only where they are confirmed to be defective or damaged on arrival. If you need to exchange a product for the same item due to a manufacturing defect, please contact us following the process in Section 4.
If you wish to exchange a product for a different item or specification, please return the original product for a refund (subject to eligibility) and place a new order.
We supply products to customers in over 20 countries. If you are returning a product from outside the United Kingdom, the following additional conditions apply:
International customers retain any statutory rights available to them under the consumer protection laws of their country of residence, in addition to the rights set out in this policy.
Unless the return is due to our error or a confirmed product defect, you are responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. We recommend using a trackable, insured shipping service. Midlands Power does not accept liability for items that are lost or damaged on their way back to us.
Where we have agreed to cover return shipping costs (for example, in the case of a confirmed defect), we will provide a pre-paid return label or reimburse reasonable postage costs upon receipt of evidence.
Items purchased at a discounted or promotional price are subject to the same return conditions as full-price items. Only the price actually paid will be refunded — we do not refund the original full price.
Free gifts or promotional items included with an order must be returned if the associated purchased item is returned. If a free gift is not returned, its value may be deducted from your refund.
Nothing in this Return Policy limits or excludes your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law. In particular:
If you are unsure of your rights, we encourage you to seek independent advice or contact your local consumer protection authority.
